About us

DHL Global Forwarding (Ireland) Limited (DGF IE) is part of the broad Deutsche Post DHL Group which employees over 500,000 people in over 220 countries and territories worldwide. In Ireland we employ over 290 people across three main locations: Dublin, Shannon and Cork with a further percentage of staff members based on site in customer locations across the country. Our head office location is in Dublin Airport Logistics Park, where the majority of our operational staff members are based, while our Shannon location which is known as our Regional Customer control centre (RCC) operate from Westpark Business campus in Clare. Our Cork team operate from Mahon with our customer on-site teams spread across Cork, Dublin & Kildare. 

Our simplified business purpose is transporting freight via air, ocean, and road. This includes customs clearance and value-added services such as warehousing and cargo insurance.

Our services extend from standardised container transport to highly specialised end‐to‐end solutions for specific sectors including life sciences, pharmaceuticals, beers, wines & spirits and technology. Thanks to our global presence, we are able to offer a variety of routing options and meet our customers’ increasing demand for multimodal shipments.
