About us

Esri Ireland specialises in the application of geographic information systems, helping customers record where things happen and analyse why, with the aim of providing insight and helping them to make better decisions.

As Esri's official point of presence in Ireland and Northern Ireland it has, since 2002, partnered with both the public and private sector to help them understand the impact of Location, Place & Geography on their business. We help customers record where things happen and analyse why, to give business insight on which to make better decisions. It's what we call #TheScienceofWhere.

Ranked as number 1 Best Workplace in Ireland 2020 (Small Category) and as a Best Workplace every year since 2016, Esri Ireland is part of the EsriGlobal Network, a billion-dollar privately held software company with nearly 10,000 employees worldwide.

Application tips

Our core philosophy when it comes to hiring people is one that weighs more on ‘fit’ than on ‘form’. Given our market leading position, our organisational culture and climate and our strongly held belief in the value of geographic information, it is critically important to the continued success of our business and our customers businesses, that we hire people who have a natural fit with all three of these themes.

In this way we hire people to have a career with us and not just to fulfill an immediate need. Regardless of whether a role is actively advertised, if the right person with the right aptitude is available, we’ll work to find them a suitable position in our organisation.

We invest a great deal of time in our recruitment process to ensure that new hires fit with our values and culture. We filter everything we see and hear from prospective candidates throughout the interview process, through our core values of:

  • Honesty and integrity
  • Knowledge and expertise
  • Work-life balance
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
