About us

The Housing Agency is a government body that works to solve housing problems and support the delivery of high-quality homes and thriving communities. We are a dynamic and growing organisation that works closely with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Local Authorities, Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) and the private sector in the delivery of housing and housing services.

We provide a broad range of services including:

• Support the delivery of government schemes to increase the support of new housing, turn vacant buildings into homes and deliver affordable housing solutions.

• Projects and procurement team to support Local Authorities and AHBs in the delivery of housing.

• Promote social inclusion in access to housing.

• Manage schemes to resolve building and material defects.

• Provide high quality research and training to the housing sector.
