What defines us

Our remote first culture has been in place for many years, pre-pandemic, and so we are well positioned to manage our roles individually as part of a close wider team.  We like to celebrate our wins, including our Great Place to Work awards, and do this with events such as our recent company wide team building event in Rome. We of course have smaller events, usually online in the form of Escape Rooms, quizzes and comedy nights, but we love to get together when we can.

We offer competitive salaries, bonus', healthcare and pension benefits - and baskets of treats to winners of our internal, fun, competitions! We provide home set up for remote working, and wellness benefits. For a small company we think big and make sure that our staff feel valued and seen.

Word from the top

The culture of the company is what makes it successful.  Without our great people there would be no company.  Performing well and winning a Great Place to Work award, Best Workplaces in Tech 2023, Best Small Workplace in Ireland 2023, is a fantastic achievement and reflects where we are today as a company.

It is important we maintain the trust of our employees and act on the findings from the Great Place to Work Survey and improve the company further.

As ETU grows we aim to maintain our culture and listen to our employees on how we can achieve this is paramount to every manager at ETU.

At ETU, having some fun individually and collectively as we achieve success together is so important.  We celebrate our wins and have team bonding exercises and regular social events, both in person and remotely.

Today ETU is a Great Place to Work, a Best Workplace, and we will do everything that we can to keep it that way.

Application tips

Working at ETU is an exciting opportunity. We hire for cultural fit with our organization, innovative people from diverse backgrounds who share our passion to change the face of corporate learning. To work here you should demonstrate an ability to work without micromanagement and be self-motivated to achieve your goals.

When applying, it is recommended that you consider if a fast-paced team environment is for you. There are some opportunities for you to work on individual projects, but the majority of the time input and collaboration across multiple departments and teams is essential to achieve success.

Check your CV before you apply - layout, spelling, and grammar are all very important as they demonstrate your attention to detail. Don't forget that a CV is your way to open a door to a conversation and must be a representation of your best self. When meeting with ETU for the first time we will call you to discuss the role, and then normally arrange 2 interviews.

Our great workplace

ETU has a remote first working arrangement with all of our staff. We have offices in the Dublin Docklands where we conduct occasional team meetings. Meeting in person is not always possible for our remote team members outside of this area, who are welcome to join virtually. When we do meet up we enjoy socializing with lunches-out, dinners and drinks. In April 2022 the whole company went to Rome, Italy, to meet with our colleagues from across Europe and America - many for the first time as they began employment during the pandemic.

We have grown from 11 staff to 45 staff in just over 2 years, and we are planning for a headcount of 150 in 2023.  We are rapidly growing through the hard work and passion of every employee who bring their ideas and energy to work every day.  Our Great Place to Work certification is independent verification of our positive and supportive company culture, where each employee is visible and valued.
