About us

Woodenbridge Hotel and Lodge is a busy 69 bedroom hotel located in the beautiful vale of Avoca and is ideally located next to some of Wicklow’s most popular visitor attractions. The main hotel dates back to 1608, is the oldest in Ireland and has had many famous guests over the years including Parnell, Michela Collins and Eamonn DeValera, who honeymooned there. The lodge is the newer building, adjacent to the hotel and overlooks the Aughrim river. There are two very busy food venues on site, the Goldmines Bistro and the Smokehouse restaurant, which cater to both residents and non-residents alike.
