Word from the top

I'm extremely proud that we have received Great Place To Work certification, and also that we've scored higher than our best medium-sized comparators. This is testament to our team and our continuous investment in our people, who are key enablers of our organisational strategy.

As part of the certification process, we spent a lot of time really examining ourselves as a company. We carried out workshops with staff from diverse departments, offices, and backgrounds to re-establish our core values, we did employee engagement surveys to find out what changes were important to people to shape our future HR policies, we established ‘Global Cares’ - our jam-packed wellbeing programme & launched a new eLearning platform. What emerged from our journey to accreditation is that people are at the heart of who we are and what we do.

We know that challenges remain ahead of us but we've got an exciting five-year HR plan and we'll continue to improve and mature as an accredited Great Place to Work.

What our interview process is like: 

Step 1 - After you apply, a recruiter may reach out to you for an introductory call 

Step 2 - If your background is a match for the role, you may be required to complete a technical assessment (role dependant) and/or phone interview with 1-2 people 

Step 3 - If you continue through the process, you will be invited to 1 - 2 interviews with our team

Our great workplace

For anyone who doesn’t know Global Shares we would describe ourselves as a forward-thinking, diverse, vibrant, friendly, multi-cultural company with an uber-talented team and massive global ambition. 

We have a relaxed and friendly working environment. Pool tournaments, ‘Bring your Dog to Work’ days, and Friday Nibbles ‘Fribbles’ are all part of our day to day here in Global Shares.

As for what a day in the office is like – we’re a hugely diverse company with lots of great characters and an appreciation that playing pool or chatting over a coffee is an important way to communicate and get away from the computer screen for a while. Global Shares is a regulated company so it’s very professional. A place where, with hard graft in the right role, there is no limit to the opportunities. It’s fast-moving and very ambitious.
