To date, we have helped deliver many Gigawatts of clean, affordable generating capacity to the global energy system, which is now powering millions of homes and avoiding millions of tonnes of CO2 emissions every year.
We are doing this on an epic scale. Mainstream is the #1 renewable energy company in Chile and South Africa, we have developed the world's biggest offshore wind farm in the North Sea, and we are now developing what will be one of Asia Pacific's largest offshore wind farms in Vietnam. To build all this out we have raised a multi award-winning €3 billion in project finance.
Now, as part of Aker Horizons, the Norwegian 'Planet Positive' investment group, we are scaling up our ambitions to a new level; utilising the latest renewable energy technologies and employing the best of industry talent to grow our global footprint and hasten the day when we can all say 'Goodbye to CO2'.
