John A. Madia
Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer
Mr. John Madia is a seasoned human resources senior executive with more than 30 years of experience in developing and motivating employees. As CH2M HILL’s Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer, he is responsible for shaping and promoting the firm’s global human resources agenda including a focus on learning, professional development and remaining a best place to work. In addition, he is a member of CH2M HILL’s executive leadership team (Governance Council) as well as serving as a member of CH2M HILL’s Operations Committee.
Prior to joining CH2M HILL, Madia was Vice President of Human Resources for Dow Chemical’s Manufacturing, Engineering, Shared Services and Marketing functions. During his 31-year career with Dow, Madia advanced from a sales representative to business leadership roles and ultimately, to vice president. He was consistently recognized for motivating and developing employees while improving bottom-line profitability. In 1999, he was awarded Dow's prestigious GENESIS Award for people excellence, which is Dow's highest recognition for people leadership.
William T. Dehn, P.E.
Executive Vice President & Director of Risk Management
As Director of Risk Management, Mr. Dehn is responsible for all enterprise risk evaluation and assessing business unit mitigations. He is also chairman of the Board’s Risk Management Committee, overseeing the portfolio of risk within the company and how it is being managed. He is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and executive management team and chairs the Ownership & Incentive Compensation Committee.
Most recently, he was president of North American Operations, responsible for managing the company’s operational network of 130 offices in the U.S. and Canada, supporting the delivery of more than $2 billion in annual revenue.
Mr. Dehn has more than 40 years of experience in major domestic and international engineering and construction project management. He is a trusted leader in workforce development, organisational change, and corporate culture, and received the Men of Vision award from the Colorado-based Women’s Vision Foundation. Mr. Dehn was one of the founding sponsors of CH2M HILL’s women’s initiative.
