It’s that time of year again where we pull together our annual Best Workplaces publication. This year – to keep it fresh and inspirational - we’ve shifted the emphasis in the magazine to focus on the employees rather than the leaders of our Best Workplaces.
We asked our 2012 Best Workplaces to share employee stories with us from across the spectrum of our Nine Practice areas - the key action areas that contribute to creating a great workplace: Inspiring, Speaking, Listening, Thanking, Developing, Caring, Hiring, Celebrating, and Sharing. In doing this we were taking a leap of faith but I've been struck and touched by the personal stories that have been shared.
In spite of all the negativity out there, there are still so many positives and this year’s Best Workplaces are leading the way by putting people at the heart of everything they do.
The Best Workplaces in Ireland 2012 will be published in the Irish Independent on Thursday 23rd February.
Fiona Wilson is Senior Project Manager with Great Place to Work. In this role, Fiona heads up the Best Workplaces Assessment Team and is responsible for our annual Best Workplaces publication in the Irish Independent.
