Today's generation places high value on a flexible working environment, enjoyable teamwork, and on being with a company that will invest in training and help them gain transferrable skills. That's according to John Atherton, Managing Director, McDonald's, which was named in 2011 as one of Ireland's Best Large Workplaces for the seventh consecutive year.

The interview in this segment is taken from 'The Business', first broadcast on Ireland's RTE1 in March 2011, in which reporter George Lee sets out to discover the secrets of creating a great workplace.
