How to Register for Trust Assessment
Registrations for Trust Assessment are accepted at any time. However, to be considered for the next calendar year's "Best Workplaces" list, your registration must be received by the end of October of the previous calendar year. (Nominations for the February 2011 list, for instance, need to be submitted by October 31st 2010).
Most organisations register well in advance of this deadline however, as this allows them complete freedom to choose the timing of the assessment to suit their own business needs.
List Eligibility Requirements
Although we conduct Trust Assessments on companies of every size, to be considered for inclusion on the list, your organisation must have a minimum of 50 full- and part-time employees in Ireland and be at least three years old.
A company will not be considered for a place on the list when it is going through a significant merger or acquisition which has the effect of increasing its Irish workforce by twenty five per cent or more.
Although we often conduct assessments on just one or more divisions or units of larger organisations, we can generally only consider an organisation for inclusion on a list if we have assessed the entire organisation in Ireland. This is a complex area – particularly in relation to larger corporations and MNCs – and for that reason it is impossible to generalise. We consider each situation on its individual merits, with a particular emphasis on accuracy and transparency. Please contact us at +353 1 890 9510 to discuss your requirements or situation.
To Register for Trust Assessment:
- Complete the on-line registration form. Or contact us at info@greatplacetowork.ie to let us know that you are interested in having us conduct a Trust Assessment. Tell us the name and contact information of the person that we should talk to in order to make arrangements..
- We will then issue our invoice, and agree dates and deadlines with you.
- Distribute, with our guidance, our Employee Survey (Great Place to Work® Trust Index©), to your employees. This employee survey is an attitude survey which measures employee perceptions about their workplace, and is based on our Great Place to Work® Model©.
- Fill out a management questionnaire which looks at your company culture, human resource policies and philosophies.
- If you wish, provide us with supplementary materials (e.g. employee handbooks, videos, company newsletters) that will give us an insight to your workplace culture and that illustrate why your organisation is one of the nation's top employers.
- We will share the results of your assessment with you within a few weeks of it being completed, and provision of our various support services will be based on your precise needs.
- In December, we will automatically consider your organisation for a place on the appropriate Best Workplace list, based exclusively on the results of your Employee Survey and Culture Audit.
